Follow the simple four-step process outlined below to register for a service opportunity and begin earning certified volunteer hours.

<aside> 1️⃣ SIGN UP: Start by registering for one of the opportunities offered by Interns 4-Good. This could be an internship, tutoring position, or special initiative. A comprehensive list can be found here. If you don’t see something you are interested in, don’t worry. New and exciting opportunities are added daily. Please remember that you are guaranteeing your full commitment to a position by signing up for it. Therefore, we recommend that you sign up for a maximum of two to three opportunities to ensure you are not overstretched.

<aside> 2️⃣ WAIT PATIENTLY: Although it can be difficult, please wait patiently. Many of our nonprofit partners have limited resources and may take a while to complete the intern onboarding process. In the past, response times have ranged from a single week to a few months. If you ever need a status update, reach out to a member of our leadership team. For questions regarding internships, please contacy Sid or Krishna (Co-presidents of Internships). For questions regarding tutoring, please contact Allene (President of Tutoring). Do NOT contact the organizations to which you have applied unless they reach out to you first.

<aside> 3️⃣ FOLLOW THROUGH: Once you are accepted, you will receive an email with instructions on how to get started. Work hard, represent Interns 4-Good with pride, and most importantly, have fun! If you ever have any concerns, feel free to reach out to our **leadership team** for help. Having personally vetted our partner organizations, it is our responsibility to ensure they foster a kind and accepting work environment.

<aside> 4️⃣ LOG HOURS: If you want our team to track your hours, please fill out the service hours form on a weekly basis, so we have an official record of your work. If you forget to log your hours, report the missed hours when filling out the subsequent week’s form. When you are ready to report your hours, contact [Courtney and Ashley](mailto:[email protected][email protected]). Send them all the necessary paperwork along with any other pertient information. It may take up to ten days to fill your request so please plan accordingly. We reserve the right to investigate inconsistencies and invalidate any hours we deem inaccurate.
