In 2019, Ellie Zimmerman, a young entrepreneur from Purchase, New York, overheard her friends lamenting the difficulty of finding meaningful internships. Inspired by this conversation, Ellie decided to find a way to connect her fellow students with accessible, skill-based internships. This ambitious goal would ultimately result in the creation of Interns 4-Good, a 501(c)-3 nonprofit dedicated to providing high schoolers with impactful internship opportunities. Since the inception of this transformational organization, Ellie and her leadership team have worked tirelessly to expand its reach and improve its services.

Interns 4-Good is built around a set of four core pillars that embody our central mission and unwavering commitment to society. We expect all of our interns and nonprofit partners to embrace these same lofty ideals.
